Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to drive data-driven improvement across multiple operations. You will lead CI resources, partner with engineering, automation, and operations to raise safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.

You will report to the CI Director or Sr. CI Manager and interact with senior management and customers. The role requires startup experience and proficiency with AutoCAD, WMS (Manhattan SCALE), Power BI, Snowflake, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine+ years in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, transportation or supply chain logistics.
• Lean Six Sigma, required.
• Strong data visualization and database programming skills (PowerBI/Tableau; SQL/DAX).
• Experience with CAD, slotting, WMS, and labor planning tooling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals; manage performance and multiple projects.
• Lead strategy, scorecards and KPI action plans; assess site needs and implement CI plans.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring; translate Ryder concepts to local applications.
• Develop competencies in engineering methods, data analysis, Lean tools and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events; track progress and sustainment; lead cross-functional CI initiatives.
• Manage design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of QMS; support regulatory compliance.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
