Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement leader to promote and facilitate CI across multiple operations, driving data-driven changes to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth. The role interfaces with employees at all levels and reports to the CI Director or Sr.

CI Manager. The position requires startup experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, WMS (Manhattan SCALE), Power BI, Snowflake and slotting software, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry required.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills with emphasis on Access, Excel and PowerPoint & Visio expert required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals; hire, promote, coach and develop; manage performance.
• Lead development and execution of strategy, scorecarding and KPI action plans; assess critical site and business needs to drive CI plans.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to translate Ryder BSC concepts to local situations; coach teams to use Engineering, Data Analysis and Lean methods.
