Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement to promote and implement data-driven CI, engineering methods, and lean tools across multiple operations. You will lead CI resources, drive change, and partner with senior management to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

The role requires startup experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, WMS (Manhattan SCALE), Power BI, Snowflake, and slotting software; travel up to 50% is expected. Reports to the CI Director or Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and relevant engineering or supply chain discipline.
• 9+ years in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, transportation or supply chain.
• Experience with lean, six sigma and PDCA methodologies.
• Strong data analytics and ability to translate data into action.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau and SQL.
• Experience with start-ups, retrofits, and expansions.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple CI projects across sites and senior management.
• Develop and execute strategy, scorecards, and KPI action plans.
• Coach teams to apply engineering, data analysis and lean methods for operational excellence.
• Oversee QMS design, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate value stream mapping and Kaizen events to achieve performance gains.
• Drive continuous improvement across accounts and new deployments.
