Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI across multiple operations, driving data-driven changes to safety, quality, delivery, and costs. You will leverage AutoCAD, WMS, Power BI, and Lean tools to uncover root causes and implement durable improvements.

Travel up to 50% is expected; collaboration with senior leaders is required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and extensive experience in logistics or manufacturing are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics.
• Lean Six Sigma, ISO/QMS or cPMP certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of continuous improvement engineers and quality professionals; hire, coach and develop talent.
• Develop and execute strategy, scorecards and KPI action plans; assess site needs and drive CI plans.
• Provide training and mentoring to translate Ryder concepts into sustainable improvements.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events; track progress and sustainment across accounts.
