Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead a team of CI engineers and quality professionals across multiple sites.

You will drive data-driven improvement using lean methods, engineering approaches, and analytics to boost safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth. Reporting to the CI Director, you will develop strategy, KPI action plans, coach stakeholders, and manage cross-functional projects from design to sustainment, enabling measurable performance gains across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Master's degree preferred Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals; hire, promote, coach, develop and manage performance.
• Lead strategy development, scorecards, KPI action plans and assessments of critical site needs.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to translate Ryder Business System concepts to local situations.
• Develop competency in engineering methods, data analysis, Lean tools, and quality standards; use tools to improve distribution/transportation operations.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events; identify gaps and lead CI team to implement improvements.
• Manage CI projects, track progress and value across customer accounts; drive sustainment and lean implementation.
