Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive change across multiple operations using data-driven CI, Engineering and Automation. You will supervise CI engineers, develop strategy and lead KPI action plans with senior management, while coaching teams in Lean methods and Ryder Business System.

Travel up to 50% and strong expertise in AutoCAD, WMS, Power BI, slotting tools, and labor modeling are required to optimize safety, quality and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in engineering or supply chain management.
• 9+ years in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing or logistics.
• Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma or CI methods and data analytics.
• Strong skills in data visualization, SQL and Power BI.
• Travel up to 50% required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineers and quality professionals; drive hiring, coaching and performance.
• Lead strategy development, KPIs, scorecards and improvement plans with site leadership.
• Train and mentor personnel in Ryder Business System, engineering, data analytics and Lean methods.
• Develop advanced competency in engineering methods and data analysis; apply PDCA and VSM.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and manage CI projects across customer accounts; track value and progress.
