Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead CI Engineer to drive continuous improvement across operations. You will apply data-driven CI, engineering, and automation efforts to boost safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.

The role interfaces with employees at all levels and may supervise CI resources under the CI Manager. You will leverage advanced analytics, lean tools, and QA methods to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements, aligning with overall operational excellence and

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing
• Experience with CI, Lean, and QA practices
• Proficient in PowerBI/Tableau and SQL
• Proficient with Leader Standard Work and PDCA
• Knowledge of CAD/slotting and MLT systems is a plus
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects across the operation to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost
• Develop and execute transformation plans and Kaizen events
• Coach teams in lean methods and CI tools
• Manage CI resources and report progress to CI leadership
• Collaborate with account management and customers as needed
• Support start-ups, retrofits, and expansions with automation insights
