Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn, Alabama is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to provide technical oversight for EDM Gear Reducer & Driveline programs. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver prototype and production solutions that meet vehicle requirements, manage DFMEA/DRBFM activities, and drive critical milestone dates across hardware, software, and calibration domains.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in transmission and/or driveline design, releasing, development, validation, calibration, manufacturing, program management, etc.
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight of the EDM Gear Reducer & Driveline program deliverables and ensure costs, timing, and performance targets are met.
Coordinate hardware, software, calibration, packaging, builds, validation, and related design changes across vehicle families.
Lead engineering teams to deliver prototype and production solutions that meet vehicle and program requirements.
Lead risk management with DFMEA/DRBFM and coordinate trade-off studies to drive proper proposals.
Represent the organization in high-level meetings and lead build readiness and technical reviews.
