Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in product development, design and release.
• 1+ year of propulsion systems experience.
• Experience working with collaborative and global teams.
• Understanding of automotive manufacturing and quality processes.
• Advanced English language skills (read/write).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Strong work ethic, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns the application matrix and interface between CE group and vehicle team.
• Supports development of high-level Applications Matrix including interface requirements for programs across variants and platforms.
• Coordinates packaging studies to ensure clearance requirements are met and leads design studies.
• Negotiates requirements with vehicle platforms based on product limitations.
• Defines and tracks vehicle and sub-system functional objectives.
• Leads virtual duty cycle analyses with Propulsion Systems team and durability group.
• Coordinates external interface design changes for platform approvals.
• Develops and communicates issues and change management for applications.
