Job summary
Stellantis NV in Auburn, AL is seeking a Development Engineer for Transmission, Driveline & Gear Reducer to analyze, develop, and validate driveline systems and their integration into Stellantis vehicles.
You will develop development and validation plans, perform performance tests in vehicle and drive-simulation environments, and collaborate with calibration, powertrain and vehicle-synthesis teams to deliver production-ready driveline solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in Automatic Transmission/Driveline/Electrified Powertrain hardware or controls.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, and validate transmission, driveline systems and integration into Stellantis vehicles.
- Develop development and validation plans and execute performance tests in vehicle and drive simulation environments.
- Collaborate with driveline calibration, powertrain calibration, and vehicle synthesis teams to ensure robust driveline solutions.
