Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to oversee EDM gear reducer and driveline programs across vehicle families. You will coordinate hardware, software, calibration, and validation tasks to meet cost, timing, and performance targets.

The role requires extensive experience in transmission/driveline design, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead engineering teams through prototypes to production milestones. A master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles.
• 8+ years in transmission and/or driveline design, release, development, validation, calibration, manufacturing, or program management.
• Clear written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of EDM Gear Reducer & Driveline programs, ensuring cost, timing, performance, and quality targets are met.
• Coordinate hardware, software, calibration, packaging, builds, validation, and DFMEA/DRBFM activities across vehicle families.
• Lead engineering teams to deliver prototype and production solutions meeting vehicle and program requirements.
• Co-lead risk management tasks with CQI teams and manage trade-off studies and proposals.
• Support cross-functional interfaces with purchasing, quality, and suppliers to ensure program milestones and milestones dates are met.
