Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to lead advanced construction inspections for transportation projects in Georgia. You will supervise inspectors, perform complex field inspections, and assist with contract administration and project documentation.

Responsibilities include monitoring roadway and bridge construction, materials testing, and reviewing plans. The role may involve project engineering duties on roundabouts, bridges, ITS, and major

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of progressive transportation inspection experience or a related degree with 4+ years.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects and serving as lead inspector.
• Ability to obtain GDOT certifications and pass required tests within stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection for roadway and bridge projects.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing to verify project requirements.
• Serve as Lead Project Inspector and supervise lower-level inspectors.
• Monitor workmanship and materials for compliance with plans and contract requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with contract administration and documentation.
