Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program, guiding product development and ensuring regulatory alignment across marketing, onboarding, and payments.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations, navigate EFTA/TILA rules, and drive durable fixes while supporting regulatory exams and audits. Remote-first with nationwide opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a compliance advisory role within financial services.
• Deep knowledge of EFTA Reg E and TILA Reg Z applied to card products.
• Familiarity with Reg DD and UDAAP; card network rules a plus.
• Proven track record navigating ambiguity and escalating appropriately.
• Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program across marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing.
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for product and engineering teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis and durable remediation of card compliance issues.
• Collaborate with Compliance Testing, Legal, and Risk for regulatory exams and audits.
• Maintain the Card program's compliance risk assessment and control inventory.
• Develop and maintain Card-specific compliance training and reference materials.
