Job summary

AFFIRM is a remote-first company seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship compliant features from concept through lifecycle.

Expect to apply EFTA, TILA, CARD Act, and UDAAP knowledge in fast-paced projects, while leading remediation and regulatory exams preparation. Visa/Mastercard familiarity is a plus, with strong emphasis on risk-aware decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a compliance advisory role within financial services.
• Deep knowledge of EFTA (Reg E), TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act, Reg DD (TISA), and UDAAP.
• Experience with card networks (Visa, Mastercard) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program across marketing, onboarding, disputes and servicing.
• Navigate novel regulatory questions with sound judgment and escalation as needed.
• Review marketing disclosures and UX to ensure regulatory compliance and consumer protection.
• Lead root-cause analysis and durable remediation of card compliance issues.
