Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship features that are compliant and durable.

You will navigate EFTA, Reg Z, CARD Act, and UDAAP questions, review marketing and disclosures, lead root-cause remediation, and prepare for regulatory exams and audits across the card stack.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in compliance advisory within financial services.
• Experience with card, payments, and related regulations.
• Strong ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program.
• Navigate regulatory questions under EFTA, Reg Z/Card Act, and UDAAP.
• Review and approve marketing, disclosures, and UX for compliance.
• Lead root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation.
• Support regulatory exams and bank partner audits.
• Maintain the Card program's risk assessments and control inventory.
• Develop compliance training and reference materials.
• Serve as the go-to expert on new card features.
