Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own advisory for the AFFIRM Card program, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship compliant features. You will navigate EFTA, TILA, UDAAP questions and deliver durable, risk‑based solutions across marketing, onboarding, disputes, and servicing.

You will lead root‑cause remediation, support regulatory exams, and build training materials to strengthen Card regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a compliance advisory role within financial services, card/payments focus.
• Deep knowledge of EFTA (Reg E) and TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act; familiarity with Reg DD and UDAAP.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program across marketing, onboarding, disputes, and servicing.
• Review and approve card marketing, disclosures, and UX for regulatory alignment.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and remediation for card compliance issues to durable fixes.
• Partner with Compliance Testing, Legal, and Risk for regulatory exams and audits.
• Maintain and update the Card program's compliance risk assessment and control inventory.
• Develop and maintain Card-specific compliance trainings and references.
