Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship features that are compliant and built to last.

You will apply EFTA (Reg E), TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act, and UDAAP knowledge to answer regulatory questions, review disclosures, and lead remediation from root cause analysis to durable fixes. This role is remote-first with nationwide eligibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a compliance advisory role within financial services with card/payments experience
• Deep working knowledge of EFTA (Reg E) and TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act; familiarity with Reg DD and UDAAP
• Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and influence cross-functional partners with solid risk-based judgment

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program, including marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing
• Lead root-cause analysis and durable remediation for card compliance issues
• Prepare for regulatory exams and audits in partnership with Legal and Risk
• Maintain and contribute to the Card program's risk assessment and control inventory
• Develop and maintain compliance training and reference materials related to Card regulations
• Surface regulatory risk early in product lifecycle and advise cross-functional teams
