Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own advisory for the AFFIRM Card program. You will guide product and marketing disclosures, ensure regulatory alignment, and lead remediation for card-related issues.

Remote-first with flexibility, the role requires building credibility with Product, Engineering, and Operations while navigating evolving card regulations and industry standards to protect customers and the business.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a compliance advisory role within financial services.
• Experience with card products, payments, and consumer protection regulations.
• Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program across marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing.
• Provide risk‑based guidance and document control measures.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations throughout development lifecycles.
• Lead remediation and root‑cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare for regulatory exams and audits with internal teams.
