Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Capture Management 3 (LED). You will lead end-to-end capture efforts for major opportunities, shaping winning strategies and coordinating across engineering, finance, contracts, and supply chain to win bids.

The role requires deep government/defense experience, strong leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50%, with eligibility for TS/SCI clearance. Based in multiple U.S. locations; relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant government/defense experience.
• Proven track record leading cross-disciplinary BD, proposal, or capture teams.
• Experience managing full-cycle capture activities including strategy and customer engagement.
• Experience with FAR and government contract types (IDIQ, FFP, Cost Plus).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Active Top Secret clearance or eligibility; ability to obtain SCI.
• Ability to lead local and geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional capture teams to plan and execute end-to-end capture activities.
• Develop and execute capture strategies and price-to-win analyses.
• Formulate win themes and value propositions for each capture initiative.
• Analyze customer needs, market drivers, and stakeholder organizations to inform strategy.
• Cultivate relationships with internal/external stakeholders and customers.
• Coordinate with line-of-business leadership, finance, contracts, global supply chain, technology, and engineering.
• Use Salesforce and BAP processes to manage captures and drive win rate.
• Implement sector-specific processes to enhance capture win rate for large opportunities.
