Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Senior Manager, Capture Management 3 (LED) to lead end-to-end capture activities for major opportunities in the Launch and Exploration Division.

Reporting to the Director, Capture Excellence, the role requires Top Secret/SCI eligibility with up to 50% travel. You will drive strategic plans, assemble cross-functional teams, and perform price-to-win analyses to win high-value programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, or a technical field, or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in government or defense industry.
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary business development, proposal, or capture teams.
• Experience managing full-cycle capture activities including strategy, resource planning, and customer engagement.
• Experience using Salesforce and following the BAP (Business Acquisition Process).
• Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to brief executives and influence decision makers.
• Understanding of FAR and government contract/payment types (IDIQ, FFP, Cost Plus).
• Ability to lead both local and geographically dispersed teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or eligibility at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional capture teams to plan and execute end-to-end capture activities for major opportunities.
• Develop and execute capture strategies and tactics including win themes and price-to-win analyses.
• Formulate clear win themes and value propositions for each capture initiative.
• Analyze customer needs, market drivers, and stakeholders to inform strategy.
• Cultivate strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders.
