Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) seeks a Senior Manager, Capture Management 3 (LED) to lead strategic capture efforts for the Launch and Exploration Division. The role will drive win themes, value propositions, and cross-functional collaboration with finance, contracts, engineering, and leadership.

Preferred candidates are based in Chandler, AZ or UT, VA, MD, AL with travel up to 50%. Clearances required at start, top secret eligible for SCI, and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical field, or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in government or defense industry.
• Proven track record in leading cross-disciplinary business development, proposal, or capture teams.
• Experience managing full-cycle capture activities including strategy, resource planning, and customer engagement.
• Experience using Salesforce and following the BAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional capture teams to plan and execute end-to-end capture activities for major opportunities.
• Develop and execute capture strategies and tactics that result in competitive assessments, effective teaming strategies, and robust prices-to-win analyses.
• Formulate clear Win Themes and Value Propositions for each capture initiative. Develop and execute capture strategies, win themes, value propositions, competitive assessments, teaming approaches and price-to-win.
• Analyze customer needs, market drivers, and stakeholder organizations to inform capture strategy.
• Cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, including team partners, industry associations, and customer decision-makers.
• Coordinate closely with line-of-business leadership, finance, contracts, global supply chain, technology, and engineering.
• Use Salesforce and Business Acquisition Process (BAP)/sector processes to manage captures and drive win rate.
• Implement sector-specific processes that enhance overall capture win rate and secure large-scale opportunities.
