Job summary

Hylant is seeking an Account Executive to lead a captive account management team, oversee client relationships, and drive strategic, financial, and governance objectives. The role requires top-tier leadership and a proven track record in senior client stewardship.

You will guide talent development, manage client engagements, and present outcomes to boards and executives, while ensuring compliance and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Seven or more years of captive insurance, auditing, risk management, or captive management experience.
• CPA, CPCU, ACIA, ARM, ACI, or other relevant professional designations, preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
• Strong understanding of captive insurance operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, engage, and manage a team of account managers in talent functions including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Serve as executive relationship manager and trusted advisor for assigned captive clients, providing strategic guidance on operations, governance, financial performance, insurance, and long-term objectives.
• Lead client, board, and stakeholder meetings, presenting financial and operational results.
• Oversee complex client engagements, resolving escalated issues and identifying opportunities to enhance client value.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, quality standards, and on-time service delivery.
• Provide executive oversight of financial reporting, regulatory filings, risk management activities, and domicile compliance.
• Collaborate with auditors, actuaries, legal counsel, regulators, and other service providers.
• Support business growth through client retention, expansion efforts, proposals, and industry participation.
