CGS Federal is seeking experienced Business Analysts to collaborate with a large federal agency within the Information Technology department. The role focuses on understanding new business opportunities, defining functional requirements, and translating them into actionable documentation and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain Government Security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or engineering.
• 7+ years of business or systems analysis experience.
• Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods.
• Experience with Jira or other Agile tools.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Document and analyze business and functional requirements for process maps and technical system specs.
• Develop documentation: system diagrams, concepts of operations, status reports.
• Create briefs and communications for customers, management, and executives.
• Identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and new tech implementation.
• Gather information from subject matter experts to write procedures and specs.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and manage client expectations.
• Support continuous improvement of products, services, and processes.
• Manage government-facing communications and stakeholder interactions.
