Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to collaborate with a federal agency in CGS's Information Technology department. You will translate business needs into functional requirements, create documentation, and support agile project delivery with stakeholders across teams.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in business or systems analysis, strong communication skills, and experience with Jira and Confluence. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain security clearance
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and/or design of information systems programs and related business processes
• Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users

Responsibilities

• Document and analyze business requirements into process maps and system specs
• Develop comprehensive documentation including diagrams, concepts of operations, and status reports
• Create high-level briefings and communications for customers, management, and executives
• Identify opportunities for service delivery improvements and new technology implementation
• Manage client interaction and coordinate cross-team dependencies
• Support continuous improvement and risk management
