Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Lead Operating Engineer to manage daily operations of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a Cincinnati-area facility. You will oversee maintenance staff, perform preventive tasks, and coordinate with contractors to maintain system reliability.

Requirements include 5+ years in a related trade, relevant licenses, EPA 608 certification, and proficiency with Outlook/Excel/Word. A valid driver’s license and ability to work shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Graduate of apprenticeship program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related trade experience operating M,E,P systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and assign/monitor activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as changing filters, lubricating motors, and inspecting equipment.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and coordinate with outside contractors.
• Respond to emergencies and communicate with management through monthly reports.
