Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Lead Operating Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at the assigned facility. The role may involve supervising maintenance staff and coordinating with contractors to maintain reliability and uptime.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with HVAC, boilers, pumps, and energy management, plus strong safety and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building MEP systems and general maintenance requirements.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and coordinate activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance per equipment manufacturer guidance.
• Coordinate maintenance with outside contractors and technicians.
• Respond to emergencies and customer concerns.
