Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at the assigned property. The role follows a Tuesday–Saturday schedule and requires on-site presence and flexibility to support business needs.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of related experience in operating MEP systems in a commercial setting, a High School Diploma or GED, and relevant trade licenses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Relevant trade licenses/permits may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, VAVs, and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance per standards and manufacturer recommendations.
• Respond to emergencies and report activities to supervisor.
