Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Commercial Lines to lead Account Management staff, oversee service delivery and optimize operational efficiency within the branch. The role manages an assigned book of business and serves as a senior resource for complex client needs, including renewals and new business.

The position emphasizes leadership, HR compliance, staff development and a strong focus on service excellence, culture, and engagement across IOA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years in sales, marketing or relationship management.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required.
• Professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Lead Account Management staff and provide coaching and guidance.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Ensure HR policies and processes are followed.
• Oversee policy administration, placement, billing, claims support and documentation of accuracy.
• Lead or support renewal and new business processes.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively anticipate client needs.
