Job summary

E2C International is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to manage monthly close for a portfolio of client entities, ensuring tax-ready books and accurate intercompany balances. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks Online skills, experience with reconciliations, and the ability to clean up complex books and improve accounting processes.

You will work with AI-assisted workflows, bank feeds, and documentation standards, and help build the close checklist and chart of accounts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience.
• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification preferred; advanced skill required either way.
• Experience with multi-entity or intercompany books for professional-services, real estate, or founder-owned businesses.
• Experience with tax firms and AI-assisted accounting workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close for a portfolio of client entities: every bank, card, loan, and investment account reconciled to the statement with documented reconciling items.
• Deliver tax-ready books: accruals, prepaids, fixed-asset schedules, owner distributions versus loans, and clean intercompany balances.
• Clean up inherited books and write the memo that explains what was wrong.
• Build the firm's close checklist, chart-of-accounts standard, and document-request process.
• Work inside bank feeds, receipt capture, categorization rules, and AI-assisted workflows, auditing what the system did.
