Job summary

HireBooth is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support full-cycle accounting and month-end close. You will manage AP/AR, assist with close processes, and post journal entries while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with QBO or Xero are required, along with GAAP knowledge.

The role emphasizes independence, data analysis, and clear communication with the Staff Accountant. Collaboration on ad-hoc projects and audits will be part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle close.
• Proficient Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with QBO or Xero.
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and basic reconciliations.
• Close Processes: Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post manual journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and allocations.
• Reconciliations & Audits: Assist with intercompany reconciliations and prepare schedules for external auditors.
• Financial Analysis: Help investigate variances in monthly budget-vs-actual analysis.
• Ad-hoc Projects: Perform other duties and projects related to the role.
