Job summary

D2B is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to own the day-to-day financial engine for a growing farming-focused company. You will report to the CFO and manage AR, AP, payroll, reconciliations, and statutory reporting in a hands-on, autonomous capacity.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process discipline, and collaboration with internal teams, growers, and suppliers. This independent contractor position follows AU hours.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer with end-to-end bookkeeping.
• Strong knowledge of Xero; Hubdoc experience preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts receivable and reconcile customer payments.
• Process supplier bills and grower payments; maintain supplier records.
• Handle end-to-end payroll and STP reporting.
• Perform bank reconciliations and month-end close.
• Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and payroll tax reporting.
