Job summary

ADP, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations within a small, collaborative SaaS team. This on-site role focuses on full-charge bookkeeping, AR/AP, and payroll using ADP Workforce Now, reporting to management and coordinating with the CPA.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of end-to-end accounting, strong QuickBooks skills, 3rd-party billing experience, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or accounting support with end-to-end financial responsibilities.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (QBO and/or Enterprise) with strong working knowledge of core bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in 3rd party billing platforms such as Coupa, ESIC, Ariba, or similar platforms
• Hands-on ADP Workforce Now payroll processing experience.
• Proven ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations with close attention to detail.
• Experience making collections calls directly and managing aging accounts.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for working with employees, vendors, and management.
• Proficiency with standard office software and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions and maintain supporting documentation.
• Maintain corporate books including journals for cash receipts, purchases, sales, and disbursements.
• Post bills, process invoices, and balance journals regularly.
• Operate QuickBooks to record, store, and analyze financial data.
• Handle AR and 3rd party billing, billing portals, and aging reports.
• Oversee AP activities, vendor payments, and filing of supporting docs.
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare bank deposits.
