Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Senior Blower Applications Engineer to lead advanced technical sales in water and wastewater markets. The role combines engineering depth with strategic sales leadership to win complex opportunities.

The candidate will act as a technical authority on multistage centrifugal, rotary lobe, screw, and high-speed blowers, guiding cross-functional teams and driving revenue growth across municipal and industrial projects.

Qualifications

12+ years in applications engineering or technical sales.
Experience selling complex engineered systems in water & wastewater.
Experience with EPCs, General Contractors, and municipal/industrial markets.
Proven success closing high-value deals in a sales environment.
Deep knowledge of municipal & industrial treatment processes and blower technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead technical strategy for complex, high-value sales opportunities.
Build trusted advisor relationships with engineers, EPCs, OEMs, and end users.
Evaluate requirements and develop optimized solutions; lead executive-level discussions.
Prepare proposals, costing estimates, presentations, and value-based solutions.
Mentor Sales Engineering and Sales Teams; collaborate on product roadmaps and lifecycle management.
Provide post-sale oversight and support for customer projects and success.
