Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Senior Blower Applications Engineer to drive engineered solutions in water and wastewater projects. You will lead technical sales, define win strategies, and act as the technical authority on blower systems in municipal and industrial settings.

You will partner with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to grow revenue, mentor teams, and influence procurement early in the cycle. A deep understanding of blower tech and controls is required.

Qualifications

12+ years in applications engineering or technical sales, senior level.
Experience selling complex engineered systems in water & wastewater applications.
Experience working with EPCs, general contractors and municipal/industrial customers.
Proven success closing high-value deals in a sales environment.
Strong knowledge of municipal/industrial treatment processes and blower technologies.
Familiarity with controls systems (PLC/SCADA) and system integration.

Responsibilities

Define win strategies and value propositions for high-value opportunities.
Engage engineers, EPCs, OEMs and end users to shape requirements; lead technical discussions.
Serve as technical authority on blower systems across water/wastewater.
Develop proposals, cost estimates, and value-focused presentations.
Mentor Sales Engineering and Sales teams; collaborate on product roadmaps.
Drive pipeline growth and upsell opportunities; support forecasting.
