Job summary

Techno is seeking an Administrative Assistant - Billing to support our accounting operations in Princeton, NJ. The role handles client invoicing, AR/AP, and other accounting tasks in an AEC project environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in billing and related fields, QuickBooks knowledge, and strong Excel/MS Office skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in billing, AR, AP, bookkeeping, or general accounting.
• QuickBooks knowledge required.
• AEC/project-based billing and invoicing experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process client invoices for engineering and construction projects.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Process accounts payable and vendor invoices.
• Review contracts, project information, and supporting documentation for accurate billing.
• Reconcile billing, payment, and accounting records.
• Work with project managers and internal teams on billing requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end accounting activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed.
