Job summary

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Billing Analyst to own complex invoicing and accounts receivable for our New England region. You will advise project managers and finance leadership, driving accurate billing, collections, and data-driven insights to improve project performance.

This hybrid role ideally fits a candidate based in MA with access to Boston, Springfield, Watertown, or Worcester offices, or a flexible hybrid arrangement from another New England site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience considered.
• 4+ years in billing, accounts receivable, or related finance roles.
• Experience in professional services/engineering environments preferred.
• ERP/accounting systems proficiency; Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint preferred.
• Strong Excel and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize complex client invoices per contract terms and deadlines.
• Manage a portfolio of routine to complex project accounts and address escalations.
• Ensure billing accuracy, compliance, and documentation.
• Develop invoicing and collection strategies with project managers.
• Monitor AR aging and analyze aging trends and cash flow impacts.
• Lead follow-up on receivables and support payment plans as needed.
• Maintain project financial records and assist with reconciliations.
