Job summary

HUB International in Louisiana seeks a seasoned Benefits Consultant to educate clients on employee benefits and act as a trusted advisor. You will address client needs, plan renewals, and stay current on changes in the benefits landscape while collaborating with insurers and HR personnel.

You’ll participate in ongoing training, engage with carrier reps, and support clients with compliant and competitive benefit solutions. This role offers growth within HUB’s national and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) highly preferred.
• Louisiana Life and Health license is required or willing to complete ASAP.
• Professional Designations (RHU, REBC, CEBS) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate, support & become a trusted advisor to each client.
• Address client problems and issues, understand expectations & deliver viable solutions.
• Strategically plan and execute plan renewals, maintaining regular communication with clients.
• Stay abreast of changes in employee benefits, including plan designs, riders, legislation, and trends.
• Attend training and share industry knowledge to earn or maintain professional designations.
• Meet with carrier reps regularly to receive updates on innovations and strategies.
• Document client interactions and ensure timely follow-up on issues.
