Qualifications

• 5-7 years of benefits experience with strong knowledge of self-insured plans and current legislation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Designations (RHU, REBC, CEBS) a plus; Louisiana Life and Health license not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand business issues and benefits goals.
• Educate clients and act as a trusted advisor on benefit options.
• Plan renewals and communicate emerging trends to clients.
• Discuss partnerships and value propositions with clients and carriers.
• Aim for high client retention and timely, accurate deliverables.
