HUB International in Georgia is seeking a Benefits Consultant to partner with clients, assess their benefits programs, and guide annual renewals.

You will stay informed on legislation, design riders, and collaborate with carrier reps, consultants, and financial professionals to add value for clients and their employees. This role offers growth within HUB's expansive team and a chance to impact local businesses.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in benefits including a strong knowledge of self-insured plans, ancillary lines, and current legislation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with people of various responsibility and authority (employees, key contacts, executives, etc.).
• Highly organized. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once

Responsibilities

• Consulting – understand key business issues for clients and the role Benefits play in their business; articulate long-term benefit goals and develop strategic plans.
• Educate, support & become a trusted advisor to each client; address client problems and issues with viable solutions.
• Plan and execute renewals, staying in regular communication with clients and updating them on trends and solutions.
• Stay abreast of changes in employee benefits, plan designs, riders, legislation, and trends.
• Proactively checks and verifies all information (new rates, enrollments, changes) and ensures timely delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with HR and Benefits staff and upper management through regular communication.
