Shawmut Design and Construction, a 100% employee-owned company with multiple recognitions, seeks a Senior Benefits Analyst to lead day-to-day benefits administration from our Boston office (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). The role partners with Payroll, HRIS, and vendors to enhance data accuracy, compliance, and cost visibility, while driving process improvements and open enrollment efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in benefits administration.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Workday experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day benefits administration and projects.
• Analyze benefits, payroll, and vendor data to identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate 401(k) contributions and monthly matching.
• Partner with HRIS and Payroll to maintain data accuracy.
• Support annual benefits open enrollment and compliance.
• Prepare data for audits, Form 5500, and reporting.
• Provide employee benefits support and communications.
• Improve processes and automate reporting where possible.
