Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a Benefits Analyst to manage day-to-day administration of employee benefits and retirement programs in a hybrid setting in Manchester, CT. You will serve as the primary contact for benefit inquiries and ensure accurate enrollment, billing, and data integrity across Workday.

Collaborating with vendors and HR partners, you’ll support open enrollment, compliance with ERISA and HIPAA, and communications for employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 4–5 years of benefits administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefit programs and administration.
• Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA.
• Experience with Workday or other HCMS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefit inquiries via email, voicemail, and Workday Help Cases.
• Administer Bob's employee benefit and retirement programs, ensuring enrollment and eligibility processing.
• Process and reconcile monthly benefit billing, including self-billed plans.
• Partner with benefit vendors to resolve eligibility, enrollment, billing, file feed, and claims-related issues.
• Maintain accurate benefit records and employee data within Workday and other systems.
• Support compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other regulations.
• Assist with Annual Open Enrollment planning, testing, communications, and education.
• Conduct new hire and employee benefit meetings and educational sessions.
