Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across our Mobile Financial Services portfolio in North America. The role centers on creating opportunities, opening new accounts, and closing multi‑million‑dollar deals as part of a hybrid work model.

You will report to the MFS Head of Market Development – Americas and partner with cross-functional teams to shape proposals, build business cases, and deliver customer outcomes with Ericsson

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of enterprise sales experience in Mobile Financial Services, fintech, or payments
• Experience selling to financial institutions or fintech with regulatory understanding
• Proven track record of new business acquisition and revenue growth in outbound sales
• Ability to engage effectively with executive-level stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business across target markets in USA and customer segments
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles as the accountable sales lead from prospecting to delivery
• Drive consultative and solution selling by understanding customer needs and shaping value propositions
• Develop and maintain relationships with C-level stakeholders across business and technology functions
• Collaborate with product, pre-sales, delivery, legal, and finance to shape and win deals
• Represent Ericsson at key industry events and client engagements
• Maintain high-quality pipeline management, qualification, and CRM accuracy
• Ensure activities align with Ericsson's Doing Business Responsibly framework
