SouthState Bank is seeking a Senior Business Development Officer to grow relationships with community banks and drive new sales for SouthState Correspondent products. You will maintain knowledge of our products and coordinate visits and reports within a defined region.

The role requires strong relationship management, sales drive, and excellent communication. Expect extensive travel and engagement with bank management, CPAs, law firms, and trade associations to expand opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Six to ten years related experience and/or training.
• Certifications/Specific Knowledge: None.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain relationships with community bank customers and drive new sales.
• Maintain working knowledge of SouthState Bank and its products.
• Plan and schedule visits, complete contact reports for visits.
• Prepare and present analysis comparisons and services for prospect institutions.
• Act as a liaison at bank-sponsored and external events.
• Cultivate relationships with market influencers within a region.
