SouthState Bank seeks a Correspondent Senior Business Development Officer to own development of new relationships and drive sales with community banks. You will market current SouthState Correspondent products and stay informed on all offerings.

This role requires extensive travel and active engagement with bank management and external partners. Expect to collaborate across regions, plan visits, prepare analyses for prospects, and represent SouthState at events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6–10 years related experience and/or training.
• No certifications required.

• Develop new relationships and maintain current relationships with community bank customers by marketing and driving new sales.
• Maintain working knowledge of SouthState Bank and related services.
• Coordinate with management to pursue opportunities and resolve issues encountered with customers.
