Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking Production Supervisors for a growing bakery operation in Rocky Mount, NC.

This full-time, on-site role leads a team of 15–25 production staff across first, second, and third shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will mentor staff, coordinate shift assignments, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues while driving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
