Nuvision Credit Union is seeking an AVP of Collections - Loss Mitigation. This remote leadership role reports to the VP of Collections and oversees day-to-day operations of the Loss Mitigation team, aiming to maximize recoveries while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include directing staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely reporting. The role emphasizes coaching, mentoring and alignment with organizational goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience; or a combination of education, experience and training is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.
• Experience with high recoveries to offset gross charge off.
• Experience managing specialty areas including legal and bankruptcy.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy, repossessions, liquidations and foreclosures.
• Ability to coordinate, manage and guide multiple priorities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and control day-to-day operations of the Loss Mitigation staff.
• Contact members with delinquent loans to obtain payments and arrange payment plans.
• Prepare monthly, weekly and daily collection reports.
• Monitor collections activities and conduct audits to improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and applicable laws.
• Oversee repossession and foreclosure processes for collateralized loans.
• Lead, coach and develop staff to meet organizational goals.
