Job summary

Tradewind Services seeks an on-site AV & Technology Lead to run day-to-day technology at our Newport HQ. You’ll be the go-to person when systems fail and ensure meetings run smoothly, with white-glove service for executives. This role may require after-hours support and reports to the Senior Director of IT.

You’ll manage Zoom Rooms and Teams Rooms, Crestron control, AV hardware, and networked devices, coordinating with vendors and the central IT team to maintain reliability.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in IT support, AV support, or similar hands-on role in corporate settings.
• Real experience with conference room technology: Zoom Rooms and/or Teams Rooms with associated cameras and displays.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID/AD, Intune or equivalent MDM, and Windows/macOS troubleshooting.
• Solid networking basics: Wi‑Fi, VLANs, DHCP/DNS; AV devices on a network.
• Ability to work on site, lift up to 40 lbs, and respond after hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site AV & technology operations for meeting rooms, boardrooms, and training spaces.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot room systems and scheduling panels; be first responder for incidents.
• Coordinate with AV integrator and vendors on support, warranty, and changes; escalation owner.
• Maintain Crestron control, lighting, and AI features; ensure mobile app setup and permissions.
• Log tickets, keep documentation current, and suggest improvements based on building use.
