Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technical Lead to manage intermediate AV setup, operation, and breakdown in hospitality environments. You will troubleshoot issues, ensure security of equipment, and deliver exceptional client service onsite.

You will mentor technicians, maintain client relationships, and collaborate with hotel staff to ensure seamless events and accurate invoicing. This role requires lifting, driving, and compliance with training requirements.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown intermediate audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Complies with all Company security and safety measures; equipment must be secure when in use.
• Lead, mentor, and coach other Technicians on Encore’s Delivering World Class Service philosophy.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication; meet with guests on site to ensure equipment works properly.
• Interact with staff and vendors; manage paperwork and invoicing as needed.
