Tradewind Services, supporting Archipelago Companies, seeks an on-site AV & Technology Lead for its Newport HQ. You will own day-to-day technology operations, ensuring white-glove service for Zoom/Teams rooms, Crestron control, and AI-driven systems.

You’ll work with executives and vendors, often after hours, to keep meetings flawless. You’ll manage room tech, networked devices, and security updates, while documenting runbooks, licenses, and maintenance schedules to prevent outages and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years in IT support, AV support, or a similar hands-on role.
• Real experience with conference room technology: Zoom Rooms and/or Microsoft Teams Rooms.
• Microsoft 365, Entra ID/AD, Intune/MDM, and Windows/macOS troubleshooting knowledge.
• Solid networking basics: Wi-Fi, VLANs, DHCP and DNS.
• Calm under pressure with a sense of urgency for after-hours issues.
• Clear communication with non-technical users, including executives.
• On-site work and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Mansioni

• Keep meeting rooms, boardrooms, and training spaces ready for Zoom/Teams calls.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot room systems (displays, cameras, DSPs, speakers).
• Be on the floor for executive meetings and client events; set up and stay through end.
• Collaborate with AV integrator and vendors; act as first responder and escalation owner.
• Support Crestron-based environments and mobile app controls for users.
• Monitor system health, track recurring faults, report root cause.
• Maintain firmware, software, OS, patches, and security updates.
• Track licenses, warranties, and renewals; keep documentation up to date.
• Log and manage tickets; escalate beyond scope; close the loop.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding; coordinate with HR and central IT.
• Recommend improvements based on real usage and needs.
