Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge between technical leadership and specialists for events in a hotel/convention center environment. You will oversee equipment operation, ensure high-quality AV support, and mentor junior staff while maintaining exceptional client relationships.

The role emphasizes training, supervision during events, and proactive equipment maintenance to deliver flawless experiences for clients and guests.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
2+ years of field experience in specialty area is required.
2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
External applicants must meet training/certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
Internal applicants must meet certification requirements determined by the company.
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse workforce and senior management.
A valid driver's license is required for team members operating company vehicles.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Operate and manage advanced audiovisual equipment for events from setup to breakdown.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
Mentor and develop technical and leadership skills in staff.
Supervise and direct technicians during events and coordinate with operations team.
Maintain equipment security, storage, transport, and inventory planning.
